Oluwabunmilayo Obidike, fondly called Layo Obidike, is an entrepreneur, dynamic creator, author, essayist, devoted wife, nurturing mother, and a gregarious individual. With a fervent desire to make a meaningful impact, she started on her professional journey as an educator, teaching across various educational tiers, from kindergarten to tertiary levels.

Guiding and nurturing young minds, Layo discovered her passion for psychology and philosophies because she finds immense joy in assisting youth to navigate their paths toward personal growth and self-discovery. Her innate curiosity and penchant for innovation led her to continually explore ideas and develop innovative solutions over the years.

During her formative years, Layo was deeply involved in youth ministry, where her love for drama and music flourished. Serving as a music director and actively participating in a vibrant choir community, she showcased her creative talents by composing songs and crafting plays for the teens and the youths.

She derives her sparks from crafting solutions. Over the years, she has established ventures such as, The God’s Treasury Cooperative, The PraiseGates Foundation School, Thriveon Entrepreneur, Canadaclothings, The Spiritual Woman, LO Publications, and All About Love In Action.

Layo’s literary prowess and passion for poetry are evident in her authored works, including titles such as “All About Love and Action,” “Rhapsody of Love,” “The Spiritual Woman,” and “The Empowered Teens,” among others. She has also made significant contributions to education through initiatives such as “The PraiseGates Foundation School” and “SupremeInsights Educational Consulting.”

In addition to her literary pursuits, Layo is the host of the weekly show “TOW,” where she shares her belief that everyone can flourish with the guidance of wisdom. Committed to fostering growth and empowerment, “ThriveOn Entrepreneur” serves as both a business incubation platform and a non-profit endeavor, embodying Bunmi’s ethos of giving back to the community.

Alongside her husband, Paul Obidike, Layo is blessed with children and finds fulfillment in nurturing her family while actively contributing to her community. Together with her friends, she engages in philanthropic endeavors, extending support to those in need and embodying the values of compassion and generosity.

With a  commitment to personal and collective growth, Layo continues to inspire others through her creativity, compassion, and dedication to making a positive difference in the world.
